  All 3 of my children (one with special needs) have gone to Island Pediatrics for the last 16 years. I travel an hour one way to visit this practice because let's be honest good doctors are hard to find. I have NEVER EVER had a bad experience. They are not drug pushers that prescribe unnecessary antibiotics that your child builds up a tolerance to because of overuse like so many pediatricians do. Dr. Garrett always takes time to listen to all of my concerns and even takes the time to ask how I am and my other children that aren't there for treatment. I have only ever experienced smiles and kindness from ALL of the staff here. Thanks Island Pediatrics for being a place this mom can trust for her children!

  This place has arguably the worst customer service. My first two kids did go here and I always felt like the receptionist was rude but went the more out of convenience. Today my wife went in for our newborn daughters first week appointment. We have had a few friends have issues with there kids and vaccinations so we did a bunch of research for about a year and decided that we will not give our children certain ones. My wife brought our Florida vaccination excemption and the receptionist told her she would have to ask the doctor if they could even see her. The receptionist went down the hall asking the doctor and my wife could clearly hear them as the started laughing about her. She then told my wife that they could not see my one week old daughter and told my wife she needs to leave because we are dangering the other kids (there was not a single person in the waiting area I might add). She then escorted my wife a total of 5 footsteps from the desk to the door like she was some kind of criminal. I am a firm believer that a business has a right to refuse service but it was handled in a extremely unprofessional way. I would never recommend this place.
